Hamed Soleimanzadeh Joins 2023 Golden Globe Awards Jury

Hamed Soleimanzadeh, an Iranian critic, researcher, instructor, and filmmaker, has been appointed as a jury member of 2023 Golden Globe Awards.

The first Iranian critic to be a Golden Globe Awards voting member in the category of motion pictures, Soleimanzadeh has previously been on the jury panel in several prestigious festivals such as Cannes, Berlinale, Göteborg, Oberhausen, and Istanbul.
The invitation has been sent by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) which conducts the Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles, and the 80th edition of this awards ceremony is set to be held in January, 2023, in Beverly Hills, LA.
The Hollywood Foreign Press Association is a non-profit organization of journalists and photographers who report on the United States' TV and cinema activities for the visual and textual media. This association has about 105 members from 55 countries all around the world, and with the latest developments made this year, more than 100 critics and journalists from various countries have been invited by the HFPA as voting members in the Golden Globe Awards.
Currently residing in Berlin, Germany, Soleimanzadeh collaborates with Berlin University of the Arts (UdK) as a researcher and instructor in the fields of film and philosophy.
