The MoU was signed in the presence of Iran's Oil Minister Bijan Zangeneh and Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller, IRNA reported.

The MoU deals with construction project of Iran's LNG and making it operational.

According to the report the deal on the Iranian side was signed by Ali Kardor, the managing director of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC).

The two countries also signed a MoU on the roadmap of gas industry in Iran.
