Iranian ambassador to Baghdad confers with Iraqi, EU counterparts

<p style="text-align: left;">Iran's envoy in Iraq Iraj Masjedi discussed ways to promote mutual cooperation and reconstruct Iraq and reinvigorate its economic pillars with German, French and European Union ambassadors in Baghdad.

During the meeting held in Iran's embassy in Baghdad, European ambassadors hailed Iran's positive role in fighting terrorism in Iraq.

In a separate meeting, also Iraq's Ambassador to Tehran Rajeh al-Mousavi conferred with Masjedi.

According to IRNA Masjedi appreciated the Iraqi government and nation for their efforts, hospitality and cooperation in holding the glorious ceremony of Arbaeen.

Iraqi envoy, for his part, thanked Iran for its support to the Iraqi government and nation in fighting terrorism.
