Baghdad agrees with Ankara to oust PKK from Iraq: official

<p style="text-align:left">Baghdad and Ankara have agreed on ousting the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) from Iraq, an Iraqi lawmaker revealed on Monday. Fazil Fatlawi, an MP at the Iraqi Parliament, said in a statement that the federal government has asked the security leaders to assist Turkey in resolving the issue of the PKK in Iraq.

Meanwhile, he said, Ankara has urged Baghdad to oust the PKK fighters from the country, pointing out that Turkey wants to work with its neighbors in securing the Turkish borders, BasNews reported.
Fatlawi also revealed that the Turkish forces, alongside other foreign troops, would have to withdraw from Iraq after the Council of Representatives approves a proposal calling for the withdrawal of foreign forces.
