Baghdad warns Ankara against expanding Afrin’s operation into Iraq

<p style="text-align: left;">The chief of the Iraqi PM&amp;rsquo;s media office warned Turkey against expanding its Olive Branch Operation against the Syrian Kurdish town of Afrin into Iraq.

Saad al-Hadithi stated that no agreement has been made between Ankara and Baghdad in order for Turkey to conduct operation in Iraq, warning that Baghdad would never allow such an attempt.

The Iraqi official told a press conference that no operation, including Turkey Olive Branch, in Iraq&rsquo;s soil is allowed and accepted, Sky Press reported.

He further warned about the expansion of Turkey&rsquo;s military operation against Afrin into Iraq, particularly in the north of Kurdistan Region, western Mosul and the north of Baghdad.
