Three Turkish soldiers killed in Kurdistan Region

<p style="text-align: left;">Three Turkish soldiers were killed in an attack by the Kurdistan Workers&amp;rsquo; Party (PKK) in Kurdistan Region, Turkey&amp;rsquo;s military said.

The Turkish General Staff said in a statement on Thursday, May 31, that PKK fighters attacked the soldiers during an operation in northern Iraq.

One more Turkish soldier was killed during a PKK operation in the region on the same day.

The PKK has recently increased attacks on the units of the Turkish army, which are stationed inside the region.

The Turkish army has entered 20 kilometers into the Kurdistan Region, local authorities said. The Turkish military has also created a number of military bases inside Kurdistan Region.

Footage posted onto social media showing a unit of Turkish army entering Barmiza village in the Kurdistan Region&rsquo;s sub-district of Sidakan, meeting with villagers, and having dinner with them.
