According to the Egyptian newspaper Al-Watan, the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council issued a statement condemning the attack on Erbil International Airport and expressing its support for the stability of Iraq.

The official Saudi news agency also reported that the secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation condemned the rocket attack on Erbil airport and stressed its firm position in condemning all forms of "terrorism".

The foreign ministries of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Kuwait, Turkey and a number of other countries in the region condemned the rocket attack on Erbil International Airport.
