Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi called in a message on Monday, March 8, for the start of a national dialogue between Iraqi parties and movements, especially between the central government and the Kurdistan Regional Government, in order to resolve differences and problems between the two sides in order to reach a deal on the 2021 budget.
In response to this request, Nechirvan Barzani posted a message on his personal Twitter page, stating that he supported Kadhimi's request.
"I support al-Kadhimi's call for a national dialogue between Iraqi parties and movements and a real, fundamental and in-depth national dialogue to finally resolve the differences between the Kurdistan Region and the central government within the framework of the constitution," the Kurdish president said.
