Secretary of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) Politburo Fazil Mirani, Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) Co-President Bafel Talabani, Change Movement (Gorran) General Coordinator Omer Said Ali, Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union (KIU) Salahadin Bahadin, Kurdistan Justice Group (KJG) Leader Ali Bapir, Secretary of the Kurdistan Socialist Democratic Party (KSDP) Muhammad Haji Mahmoud, representative of Christians Ano Jawhar, and representative of Turkmens Aiden Maaruf attended the meeting.

According to NRT, New Generation Movement did not attend the meeting.

During the meeting, the current state of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, the foreign relations of Kurdistan Region, the recent visit of President Nechirvan Barzani to France, the role of the Kurdistan Region in the new political coalitions, the upcoming elections in Iraq, Erbil-Baghdad relations and the relation between the political parties in Kurdistan Region were discussed, according to a statement released by the presidency office.

It said that the KRG hopes that the agreement between the Kurdistan Region and Baghdad will be implemented and have a positive reflection on people's lives and economic situation.

Earlier, an advisor to the president Dlshad Shahab told a media outlet affiliated with the KDP that unity and cooperation between the parties to secure the constitutional rights of the Kurdistan Region will be discussed in the meeting.
