Kurdistan Region delegation to visit Baghdad soon

A spokesman for the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) announced that a Kurdish delegation would travel to Baghdad soon.

According to Baghdad Al-Youm, Jotiar Adil said in this regard that "The purpose of the delegation's visit is to bring closer the views and reach a comprehensive agreement on the budget for the remaining months of the current year and 2021."

Adil added: "The delegation will prepare and submit to the central government all documents related to oil exports, revenues of border terminals and the number of employees in the region, and we are waiting for sending the 320 billion dinars and completing the final agreement signed with it by the year end. Because the agreement has been approved in the 2019 budget law.”

The KRG spokesman further said: "The upcoming visit of the KRG delegation to Baghdad will be carried out in order to continue the transparency of the KRG in all its negotiations with the central government, and we are ready to deliver the revenues based on future agreements."
